The 5th Wave

The 5th Wave by Rick Yancey

I really liked this book, it had a good plot line. Cassie has to save her little brother. THe only thing that had me confused were the point of views. I was reading into the next chapter or something, and suddenly thought, who is speaking right now? It took a while to figure it out, but it was still a great book. It had tons of great descriptions, and I just really liked it. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to see the movie yet. My friends say the book is MUCH better, and has more action in it. What do you think?

After the 1st wave, only darkness remains. After the 2nd, only the lucky escape. And after the 3rd, only the unlucky survive. After the 4th wave, only one rule applies: trust no one.

Now, it’s the dawn of the 5th wave, and on a lonely stretch of highway, Cassie runs from Them. The beings who only look human, who roam the countryside killing anyone they see. Who have scattered Earth’s last survivors. To stay alone is to stay alive, Cassie believes, until she meets Evan Walker. Beguiling and mysterious, Evan Walker may be Cassie’s only hope for rescuing her brother-or even saving herself. But Cassie must choose: between trust and despair, between defiance and surrender, between life and death. To give up or to get up. (Goodreads Summary)

I also will soon be reading the next one, The Infinite Sea! Hopefully it will be as good as the last one!
